Camp Winding River & Equestrian Center

Surrounded by the rolling hills and pastures of rural Missouri, Winding River Camp is located northeast of Dearborn, MO in Buchanan County. With over 400 acres of fields and forests to explore, Winding River features wide-open spaces, an old-fashioned dairy barn, and state-of-the-art riding arena for camp activities. Horseback riding and zipline are offered at various times throughout the year, and there is an archery field, ample trails for hiking, and geocaching.

A modern loft house with bunk beds, kitchen and bathroom, two units of Adirondacks, and several primitive camping sites provide a variety of lodging options. Mattresses are provided at all overnight sites except for primitive sites. Rupple's Roost and the Underloft have kitchens and indoor bathrooms, from April to October.

Camp Winding River is the serene camping experience you've been looking for.
