Our world would not advance if it wasn’t for STEM. Industries and universities are very vocal about the need for more STEM graduates. If girls can learn STEM through Girl Scouts, they will have more opportunities to see the myriad of career options with a STEM education.
A powerful benefit of learning STEM through Girl Scouts is that girls also learn how to be leaders at the same time. STEM careers have traditionally been male-dominated, so a woman entering the workforce with STEM education and Girl Scout leadership experiences will be a dynamic candidate entering the workforce. Girl Scouts are encouraged to lead with courage, confidence and character to make the world a better place. STEM industries need leaders who can discover, connect and take action. STEM industries need Girl Scouts.
Girls can change the world; they are innovative, compassionate and motivated. Girls have leadership qualities that help them see the big picture. Girls can see the moving parts of a problem, and think through the best solution. Girls want to make the world a better place.
