Archery is available for Junior-Ambassador
Girl Scouts. Girls may register as a troop or individually. Challenge
programs follow a “Challenge of Choice” program model, allowing each
girl to listen to her voice while facing a challenge, helping her to
gain confidence and courage to make her own choice when facing future
challenges or difficult choices.
The 2.5 hour archery program is led by adult volunteers and introduces girls to the skills needed to work with a bow and arrows. The
resurgence in archery allows girls to share in its long history as they
develop their individual abilities with a sport that teaches the
benefits of patience and practice and the rewards those qualities can
bring in other areas of their lives.
What to bring: Girls should bring a water bottle and wear long shorts/pants and closed toed shoes. Tie back long hair and dress for the weather.
Troops must provide adults within safety ratios, including a first aider.
