Program Name: Bridging Ceremony/Art Package

Who: Any Troops who are bridging to the next level of Girl Scouts

What:

Our 2 hour customized Bridging Ceremony Includes:

  • an hour and 30 minute art workshop in which each girl will create a beautiful piece of art as a bridging keepsake.
  • a lovely bridging ceremony (families welcome).
  • a personalized bridging certificate for each girl.
We provide:
  • an art project and instruction.
  •  an organized bridging ceremony ( bridge, script for the ceremony: each girl will have a line to speak).
  •  a stress free experience for the leaders.  We'll handle the organization and flow of the ceremony.
  • a bridging certificate for each girl.
  • a Treehouse Art Studio bridging fun patch.
You Provide:
  • any snacks and/or refreshments if desired.
Cost per girl: $20 per Girl Scout ($200 minimum)

Program Name:
 Treehouse Art Studio Workshops

Who:  Daisy, Brownie, Junior, Cadette, Senior

What:  We customize art workshops to support troops with Journeys, art badges, or one of a kind art experiences! The opportunities for art exploration are endless!  A few of our favorites include:

  • Daisy petals mixed media on canvas
  • Upcycling trash to treasure
  • "Proud to be Me" projects
  • Mosaic Daisy Mirror
  • Mosaic or mixed media on initials, animals, treasure boxes, mirrors, peace signs, picture frames

Program Name: Using Resources Wisely: Flower Power 
 
Who: All Grade Levels (troops and invidual girls welcome)
 
When: Thursday, September 17, 2015  from 4 - 5:30 p.m.
 
What: Each Girl Scout will paint a lovely wooden flower and embellish it with layers of colorful recycled bottle tops and other recycled materials.  All materials provided, but girls are encouraged to Take Action by collecting colorful bottle tops from plastic bottles, milk jugs, etc. and bring them to the workshop to add to their artwork!

Program Name: Fairy Garden
 
Who:  All levels
 
What: Scouts will use their imaginations and creativity to create adorable fairy gardens! Each artist will paint and decorate a fairy house, paint and decorate a flower fairy, and combine these with natural elements in a terra cotta saucer to create a home that fairies will love! As a finishing touch, our fairy gardens wouldn’t be complete without a sprinkle of fairy dust!

Program Name:  Welcome to the Daisy Flower Garden Workshop

Who:  Daisies

What:  Every color has a mood! Just like Lupe, the lupine, is light blue, she is also cool and relaxed. Explore color and the moods they represent through creating mosaic flower pots or a mixed media project on canvas all while giving your work of art a certain moody feel!

Program Name:  Brownie Quest Workshop

Who:  Brownies

What:  Girl Scouts can work on their very own family tree or an "I Am Unique Art Piece" to learn more about themselves and their family. They will discover things about themselves!  A troop can also come to work together to create a collaborate art piece to donate to a local organization. That’s taking action!

 Agent of Change Workshop

Who:  Juniors

What:  Juniors will explore their own “powers” and gain deeper understanding of themselves and the qualities they can contribute to “team power” as they create their own “Super Girl” project.

Program Name:  Between Earth and Sky Workshop

Who:  Daisies

What:  Girl Scouts can celebrate the beautiful flowers of our region by creating a one of a kind sunflower or daisy mixed media on canvas. Troops could also choose to celebrate the beautiful evergreen trees of our region by learning about pine cones and how they release their seeds and then creating art with these lovely masterpieces of nature.

Program Name:  Wonders of Water Workshop

Who:  Brownies

What:  Ever wonder what to do with all those water bottles?  Girl Scouts will learn how to think creatively about how to turn trash into treasure. Girls will repurpose water bottles into works of art they can take with them. In turn, the Girl Scouts will be able to help others think about how to repurpose trash in a more environmentally friendly way.

Program Name:  Get Moving Workshop

Who:  Juniors

What:  In this open ended art exploration, Girl Scouts will investigate and create ways that they can turn trash into treasures. Each girl will design and create her own unique art piece out of recycled materials!

Program Name:  5 Flowers, 4 Stories, 3 Cheers for Animals Workshop

Who:  Daisies

What:  Girl Scouts will pair their knowledge of caring for animals with their creativity to make beautiful one of a kind bird feeders or mosaic bird houses for their feathered friends.

Program Name:  A World of Girls Workshop

Who:  Brownies

What:  Every girl, in every country, has their own unique story to tell and their own unique qualities they should be proud of. In this workshop focused around A World of Girls, Girl Scouts will create a self-portrait through mixed media creating a masterpiece that focuses on each girl’s unique qualities.
