SAFEHOME offers 90 minute workshops on the topics of healthy friendships, social media and teen dating violence.  Each workshop also includes a service project. Workshops for Brownies and Ambassadors are also available upon request.

Junior: aMuse Journey
Friendships Don’t Hurt
This workshop focuses on developing healthy communication skills and boundaries that contribute to healthy friendships.  Participants will learn communication styles, setting of personal boundaries, understanding that stereotypes affect friendships and how to develop healthy and respectful friendships with their peers. 

Cadette: Amaze Journey
Technology in Our World
This workshop focuses on responsible media use and healthy cyber-relationships.  Participants will learn how to consume media responsibly, how to stay safe while navigating different media and how to advocate for responsible media use, healthy cyber-relationships and cyber-bullying prevention. 

Senior: Women’s Health Badge
Loves Me, Loves Me Not
This workshop focuses on healthy teen dating relationships.  Participants will learn that healthy relationships are based on equality and respect, learn to recognize red flags of abusive relationships and how to seek help if they are in an unhealthy relationship.

Safe Home staff will come to your troop to deliver this program anywhere in Johnson or Miami County.

COST:
All workshops are free, but troops will need to provide some basic art supplies for program activities.
