The Lawrence Public Library is a public library located in Lawrence, Kansas. It serves the City of Lawrence, and, through its membership in the Northeast Kansas Library System, all of the citizens of the NEKLS multi-county regional library system.

    Become a HAM radio operator and talk to people across the world, save the day in an emergency, and learn all kinds of cool tech. On June 11th spend the day learning what you need to know to get your license.  Review on June 18th and then take the short test.

    Join us for a once in a life-time opportunity to speak directly to astronauts onboard the International Space Station using a HAM radio! With the help of the Douglas County Amateur Radio Club we are building a radio groundstation at the Lawrence Public Library and will radio up to the space station as it passes over our heads.
