GROW's Engineers and Scientists to the Rescue!
 
Who is first on the scene when a natural disaster occurs? Engineers and scientists are among the first on the scene to help people put their lives back together.  Join us to find out more about how engineers and scientists contribute to rebuilding communities.
 
Who: Girls in grades 6 - 8
When: Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, 9 am - 4 pm
Where: K-State, Manhattan
Cost per girl: $20 (includes program materials and lunch)
Cost per adult: $10 (includes lunch)

GROW's All for Animal Health!
 
Learn more about how scientists and engineers help animals live a long and healthy life. Spend the day with members of the College of Veterinary Medicine. Participate in hands on activities and learn about careers in Animal Science.

EXCITE: Shadow Days
 
Spend a day walking in the shoes of a K-State student. Attend classes, tour campus and learn more about K-State. Shadow Days give you time to spend the day and one-on-one time with a female student majoring in a STEM field. Now is the time to start thinking about college and your future!
