 Cookie Construction

What is Cookie Construction? AIA Kansas City, WiD-KC and Girls Scouts of NE Kansas & NW Missouri partner to team Girl Scouts with  volunteer female Design Professional Mentors from the architect and design industry. Between the kick-off event in September, and the build on March 5, the teams work towards designing and building structures out of Girl Scout Cookie boxes. It all comes together at Crown Center on March 5th where local celebrity judges choose a top construction based on design and structure. Check out pictures below from last years build.

Read our blog all about Cookie Construction 2016 and then see the team updates below!

How can I register? This year’s program is already under way! But we encourage interested Girl Scouts to attend the build day on March 5th to see what it is all about. Registration for Cookie Construction 2017 will be live in August 2016.

When and where is Build Day? March 5, 2016 at Crown Center. Doors open to the public at 10 a.m. and the ceremony will take place at 3:15 p.m.
How can I vote for my favorite build? The builds will remain up at Crown Center between March 5th and March 25th. To vote for your favorite build, head to Crown Center and fill out a ballot!
