 Topeka Civic Theatre and Academy

​Participate in theatre games and activities that help Girl Scouts discuss common stereotypes of women and girls and how to changes those perceptions.  Girl Scouts will explore new roles and characters and discuss women they admire and what traits they show the world that makes them admirable. They will have the opportunity to try on new roles through the use of costumes and props.

    ​Come hear gifted performers from the 2016 KU International Music Institute. These incredibly talented youngsters ages 8-18, who come from around the world, will make the library's Steinway piano sing!
