Where: Children’s Peace Pavilion, 1001 West Walnut, Independence, MO 64050-3562

What: Daisy and Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts can experience the interactive exhibits at the Children’s Peace Pavilion. The Pavilion’s unique, child-friendly exhibits teach conflict resolution, violence prevention, character education, self-esteem, cultural understanding, and planetary stewardship by focusing on four essential elements of peace: Peace for Me, Peace for Us, Peace for Everyone and Peace for the Planet. For Daisy Girl Scout this experience can enhance the Daisy Petals.

Many of the activities also relate to the Girl Scout Leadership Experience and troops can choose to focus on one of the three keys to leadership during their visit or to enhance a Journey experience

Cost Per Girl (scouts and siblings): Admission to the Pavilion is free but donations of $1.00 per child and adult are appreciated.
