The Troop Finance Report is an opportunity for volunteers to be transparent in the use of Girl Scout funds while providing a record of accountability. It holds troops accountable for clean financial management. Girl Scouts of NE Kansas & NW Missouri holds all bank account signers responsible for maintaining clear accounting standards and practices. The report also provides an avenue for girls to learn financial literacy.Requirement:
Each troop leader and service unit (SU) account holder is required to and is responsible for reporting all of the troop/SU account activities at the end of every Girl Scout year using the Finance Report-Troop
or Finance Report-Service Unit
form. The report is due by June 30th accompanied by a troop bank statement that includes the account balance on May 31st to your council staff representative. The form can be found on the Council website (gsksmo.org) under ‘Forms.’The Troop Finance Report allows:
