Safety Activity Checkpoints

Below you can download the Safety Activity Checkpoints (SACs) for the activity you wish to do.

Introduction to SACs

If SACs do not exist for an activity you and your Girl Scouts are interested in, check with the council before making any definite plans.

WARNING: When activities involve unpredictable safety variables, they are not recommended as Girl Scout program activities. These include but are not limited to:

Bungee Jumping
Flying in small private planes
Flying in helicopters or blimps
Hang gliding
Hot air ballooning
Hunting
Motor biking
Parachuting
Parasailing

Riding all-terrain vehicles
Riding motorized personal watercraft (jet skis, etc.)
Shooting a projectile at another person (ex: paintball)
Skydiving
Stunt skiing
Outdoor trampolining
Zorbing

Canoeing, Kayaking
Recreational Tree Climbing

Waterskiing
White Water Rafting
Wind Surfing
Ziplining
