Troop Programs & Activities

Emergencies require prompt action and quick judgment. For many activities, Girl Scouts recommends that at least one adult volunteer be first aid/CPR certified. It is required for any overnight trips, camping or high risk activities.

This online course will teach you the basics you need to know to plan a fun, safe campout with your troop in a building or cabin with modern conveniences (kitchen, bathroom). You can complete the online course any time prior to making your camping reservation.
This in-person training is hands-on camping fun and teaches the skills you need to take your troop camping in a camp unit (permatents or A-frames) or primitive unit where you will be cooking over a campfire.

Leaders will learn how to implement the Wonders of Water Journey (Brownies), the Get Moving Journey (Juniors) or the Breathe Journey (Cadettes) into their troop year.
