Become trained to teach archery to Girl Scout groups following GSUSA Safety Activity Checkpoints. The program includes basic archery form, positive coaching techniques, basic equipment maintenance and safety. Learn how to teach a class on established Girl Scout archery ranges as well as how to build an “off-site” range. All archery instructors and assistants are required to serve a specific number of hours at council activity days each spring and fall as well as attend an annual update meeting each spring.Prerequisite:
Must be 15 years of age Instructors under the age of 18 must have an instructor over the age of 18 present at time of event.Required Training:
