Surrounded by the rolling hills and pastures of rural Missouri, Winding River Camp is located northeast of Dearborn, MO in Buchanan County. With over 400 acres of fields and forests to explore, Winding River features wide-open spaces and a real old-fashioned dairy barn for camp activities.

Two indoor facilities with kitchens and bathrooms and two units of Adirondacks provide a variety of lodging options. Plus, there are several different sites for primitive camping.

Buildings include Rupples Roost and Under Loft, located under the activity barn. These locations sleep 20 each with basic kitchens and indoor bathrooms. Showers are only available for Rupples Roost and Under Loft campers April to October in the central shower house.
