Service Unit Camping is a group overnight experience planned and carried out by a group of girls and their advisors/leaders in one service unit or district. Girls from throughout the entire service unit must be invited to attend.
- Fall Season: September 1st – February 28th and Spring Season: March 1st – May 31st
- Due to high demand for troop camping and the environmental impact, service unit events are not scheduled at Timberlake and Prairie Schooner.
- Service units can request the use of Neal Lodge at Camp Prairie Schooner for day use through email. Activities will be approved on an individual basis. Fees apply.
- Service units may book outdoor program facilities, dining halls and kitchens if they are available. Additional fees apply.
- Service units are requested to carpool to reduce environmental impact of events.
