Where can I get a map to the camp?
Camp maps are distributed to troop camp training participants and are a part of the confirmation packets.
Why are some activities just for teen girls?
The Girl Scout program is built on the concept of progression—acquiring the skills needed to progress to more difficult or highly skilled activities. As girls build their confidence, progressive outdoor experiences can be planned for longer periods of time, father away from home and more challenging. Girls need something to look forward to as they progress in Girl Scouts.
What is a permatent?
A permatent is a small building with a wooden floor and roof and canvas sides.

An Adirondack is a small building with a wooden floor, roof and three sides. One side is made of canvas.
What is an A-frame cabin?
An A-frame cabin is a small wooden A-Shape building with wooden floors, screened in along the sides and an aluminum storm door with small deck on the front.
What is a platform tent?
A Platform tent consists of a wooden platform, typically elevated 1-3’ off the ground with poles and ropes supporting a large canvas tent.
What is a primitive site?
Primitive sites are available for groups to pitch their own tents for camping. Each has different accommodations. Some require troops to haul water from another location. Some have running water at the site.
Is the deposit refundable?
Deposits for troop camping, service unit camping, and outdoor programs are refundable if your group must cancel more than 4 weeks prior to the event. If your troop cancels less than 4 weeks prior to the event, the deposit will be forfeited.
Is the deposit applied to the camp fees?
Yes.
