Riding Instructor
This training for registered adults will prepare you to be a volunteer for the horse program at Camp Winding River. Upon completion of the two basic modules you will be certified to teach workshops on horse related topics to groups. The equestrian staff volunteer a minimum of four days each riding season. (Spring/Fall)
Riding Instructor - Module I
Join the Winding River team of adults who volunteers on the weekend. This training will prepare you to be a volunteer for the horse program levels. Upon completion of the module you will be certified to teach the workshop for the ground handling horses safely, mentoring young volunteers and introduction to the Winding River horse program. All horse staff volunteers are required to serve a minimum of four days each riding season.

Riding Instructor - Module 2
Join the Winding River team of adults who volunteers on the weekend. This training will prepare you to be a volunteer for the horse program levels. Upon completion of the module you will teach a “hands on training” session, including helmet safety, ground handling, grooming and tacking. All horse staff volunteers are required to serve a minimum of four days each riding season.
