Become trained to teach archery to Girl Scout groups following GSUSA and Safety-Wise standards. The program includes basic archery form, positive coaching techniques, basic equipment maintenance and safety. Learn how to teach a class on established Girl Scout archery ranges as well as how to build an “off-site” range. All archery instructors and assistants are required to serve a specific number of hours at council activity days each spring and fall as well as attend an annual update meeting each spring.
Courses are scheduled each spring. Check back in January, 2009.
Archery Instructor Recertification
This course is required to maintain archery instructor status. Catch up on what's new in the world of archery this year! Learn something about equipment repair and review your skills for a short written test.
Courses are scheduled each spring. Check back in January, 2009.
