Course Descriptions
Orientation: An orientation to Girl Scouting and how to get your troop started. Required before attending Leadership Essentials.
Leadership Essentials: Leadership Essentials is the new name for Basic Leader Training and is required of all new Girl Scout Leaders and Assistant Leaders. Experienced Leaders who have taken Basic Leader Training do not need to take Leadership Essentials.
Daisy, Brownie or Junior Age Level Training: This is required of all new Troop Leaders and Assistant Leaders and experienced Leaders who have bridged to a new program age level. This training provides specific information on working with girls of this age level and includes the new Journey training.
