This training is designed to help the Service Unit Registrar learn the council registration procedures and the process the Registrar must take to register girls and adults. Registrars served by the St. Joseph and Topeka Resource Centers, the training will be held by teleconference (please use the same registration form to sign up for a teleconference training).

Service Team Manager and City-Town Manager

This training for Service Team Managers and for City-Town Managers provides detailed information on the responsibilities that those jobs entail. Specifically the training will include a discussion of the Girl Scout message and philosophy as well as cover job fundamentals such as organizing, directing and supervising volunteers, developing a plan of work, delivery of services and evaluation.

Event Planning

Are you planning a Service Unit regional or council event and need direction? this workshop will focus on the purpose of events and planning events that will help with the needs of the Service Unit. This four hour training includes developing event outcomes, building an event budget, identifying health and safety strategies, promoting the event, and registering participants.

Positive Power Captain

Captains are responsible for coordinating and promoting Positive Power to girls ages 6-17, in an assigned geographic area. These committed adult volunteers will educate leaders and promote Positive Power programming that can be implemented at the troop level. The training will include information on what the program is, hands-on work with the program materials, how to request materials, and expectations for the annual Positive Power Collection Drive.
