Adult Recognition Training
Everyone is welcome to attend training to learn about the council’s awards for community partners, volunteers and staff.
The training will include:
- Nomination Forms
- Tools, tips and techniques on how to nominate individual’s for award
- Writing a recommendation letter
- Ideas on in-formal recognitions
New Nomination Procedure
The nominating individual completes the entire two-sided nomination application and attaches the required business letters of endorsement (printed or typed on white, 8½” by 11” paper – do not use colored paper). Persons chosen to write the endorsement letters should support the candidate receiving council recognition. The nominator may include an additional letter of support. Please do not include name of a specific award in the letter. On occasion, the Selections Committee may recommend the candidate receive an award other than the one for which the nominating individual selected.
