Located in southern Overland Park, KS, Camp Timberlake’s 72 acres are adjacent to the Overland Park Arboretum. A small pond and a large meadow offer a variety of outdoor activities. Camp Timberlake has a lodge with a fireplace and a large screened-in porch, four permatent units, primitive camping sites, three buildings for troop use, two ziplines, archery range, Scout’s Own area and traverse climbing wall.
The lodge at Timberlake sleeps 32 (on the floor) and has a kitchen, shower, and bathroom. A large fireplace is inside the lodge with another fireplace located on the screened-in porch. The Stable Building sleeps 32 (on the floor) and features an outdoor latrine and small kitchen.
Girls find natural inspiration in the Timberlake woods!
* Please note for fall 2009, the Red Barn will be closed due to construction of a county sewer project located on the Girl Scout property.
