Are We There Yet?
Come learn the basics of navigation using a compass, then explore the area around camp with GPS receivers. You will team for a high-tech hide and seek, then at the end you’ll come inside to map your geocaches on the computer using specialized software that you’ll get to take home with you at the end of the day!

Crack the Case!
Explore the exciting world of forensic science and crime scene investigation. Become an Ace detective and help solve the mystery! Look at fingerprints, footprints, trace fibers and other mysterious clues. Examine the evidence and see if you can crack the case!

Robo-Girlz
Explore the world of robots! Spend the afternoon building and programming a robot to complete a task. Once you’ve mastered this, come up with your own “mission” for the robot to complete, then challenge your friends to a robot rumble!

Explore the high-tech world of digital photography from start to finish including how to take pictures with a digital camera, how to edit photos using Photoshop, and how to print the final images!

Aerospace
On-line games and activities involve girls in space exploration. Take a virtual tour of the Kennedy or Johnson Space Center, observe an actual launch and learn about current shuttle missions. Investigate careers in the space program and learn about the many women who have participated in space exploration. Construct paper airplanes and have an “air show”. Complete the “Aerospace” Badge.

Use binoculars and learn bird observation skills. Take a bird hike. Weather Watchers
Weather affects each of us every day. Do we need an umbrella, a heavy coat or sunscreen? How much rain or snow will we get? It shapes our planet, makes crops grow and kites fly. In this program, you will learn how weather is created and how the engine of our solar system, the sun, affects Earth and our daily life. Learn how hail is formed, what air pressure is, the different types of clouds and what to do during a severe storm. By the end of the program, you’ll know how to read satellite images and better understand the changes during the seasons.
