Tree/Flower Planting Project
Sprint has a strong commitment to the environment and would like to demonstrate the importance of helping the environment to Girl Scouts. Sprint has provided funding for troops to either plant a tree or a perennial flower garden with flowers native to the area.
Sprint Wireless Recycling Program
Sprint is committed to keeping wireless devices that are no longer in use out of landfills. Sprint Project Connect offers an opportunity for people to recycle wireless phones, batteries, accessories and data cards that they are no longer using. Your troop can place a collection box in the school or can make postage paid envelopes available for distribution to people that have wireless devices to recycle. If your troop would like to start up a wireless recycling collection in your school or community, Sprint will provide you with all of the supplies you need to get started.
