Get Involved:
If you would like to share your excitement for Positive Power with other people, there are many ways to volunteer!
Become a Positive Power Captain:
POSITIVE POWER Captains represent the program for their respective service units. They are responsible for promoting participation, distributing materials, and training troop leaders to deliver the program. Contact your Service Team Manager if you are interested.
Become a Positive Power Site Coordinator:
Collection Drive Coordinators are adult volunteers and girls who are recruited and assigned drop-off sites in the Kansas City Metro Area. They receive donations, sort items, load donations on trucks to transport to a central site on the day of the collection drive.
Become a Positive Power Shelter Sponsors:
Shelter Sponsors are troops outside of Kansas City who adopt a shelter and coordinate the drive in their area. They work with the shelter to determine the best way to deliver items. They can set up a collection site or work through a Service Unit event. They also promote the drive to their Service Unit or community.
