The perfect solution for busy dads, moms, grandparents, aunts and uncles could be the gift of camp. By giving a gift of camp you invest in your girl's future by giving her sunshine, exercise, skill building, awesome role models – PLUS, the FUN and FRIENDSHIPS she values most.

Gift of Girl Scout Camp certificates can be purchased in a variety of dollar amounts. Certificates are redeemed at time of camp registration (Summer 2010) and may be used to pay the camp fee, deposit, bus fee or membership fee.

Here’s the exciting summer programs that Gift of Camp certificates can be used for:

• CAMP OAKLEDGE: Kayaking, Sailing, Science, Hiking and More! Your camper who is currently in grades 3-11 will enjoy a six-day, five-night ($250) or 13-day, 12-night ($500) resident (sleep-away) camp experience at Camp Oakledge at Lake of the Ozarks near Warsaw, Missouri.
• COUNSELOR-IN-TRAINING: Be a leader-mentor-hero! Girls who will be 16 and up this summer can begin preparing a for a future job as a camp counselor by attending this special leadership session offered at Camp Oakledge. CIT is a 13-day, 12-night session followed by a 6-day, 5-night internship ($400).
• CAMP WINDING RIVER: Equestrian leadership opportunities for teens! If your camper is in grades 8-12 and wants to work with horses and younger girls, help her become a Wrangler or Riding Instructor-in-Training (eight-day, seven-night session; $350)

Additional summer programs including Taste of Camp, Mother/Daughter Overnight, Family Camp and leadership programs will be offered at Camp Daisy, Camp Prairie Schooner, Camp Oakledge or Winding River Camp. Gift certificates are not available for these programs. Watch for session dates and more information coming to your mailbox in January and through our website.

*Gift of camp certificates are purchased using a credit card through our secure online form or by visiting the Girl Scout Shop. If you purchase your certificate online, you will be provided a choice of how you would like to receive it (e-mail or mail options available).

*Gift certificates are non-refundable unless the camper cannot be placed in a camp session or is ill and a written notice of cancellation is received with doctor’s note.
