**What to wear: recommend a hat, layers of clothing, pants or tights & gloves. You can wear your own skates or rented figure skates or hockey skates. Different thicknesses of socks help you get a good fit. You might also want to bring water. And don’t forget a camera for your first ice skating lesson!
DEADLINE: We request at least 7 days notice due to the fact we might need multiple nstructors. These are small group class lessons-approximately 6 students per instructor. Large groups will have multiple instuctors(This lesson cost does not include the price of admission or skate rental – each rink is different but admission & skate rental is around $5 - $7 per skater depending on if they have their own skates, etc.) Coupons for discounted admission to the ice rinks are available in the Entertainment Book, locally distributed child magazines and KC Star.
Payment by check is due at lesson(payable to: First Time Ice Skating Lesson)
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled lesson to get your skates on and laced. Meet your instructor at the entrance to the ice at the beginning of your lesson.
