| Fill in all sections of the registration form. Be sure to list 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices of session/program if applicable. All registrations will be processed beginning March 15. All registrations received before March 15 will be grouped together and processed at random. Registrations received after March 15 will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. If all choices of sessions and programs are filled, parents will be notified and girls will be put on a waiting list, if requested by the parent.
Registering for More than One Session
If you are registering for more than one resident camp session, complete a separate registration form for each and indicate the order they are to be processed. Your first application will be processed on March 15 or when it is received. Second, third, etc. applications will be processed beginning on April 15. Non-refundable Deposit
A $25.00 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit must be sent in with each registration form. Camp credit or financial assistance may not be used for the deposit. Membership fee of $10.00 is also due at the time of deposit if camper is not a registered Girl Scout for 2007-2008. The balance of the camp fee is due 30 days before the camp session starts. Make checks or money orders payable to Girl Scouts of NE KS & NW MO. Visa, Mastercard and Discover are accepted.
Cookie Credits Help Pay for Camp
Girls can earn credit they can apply toward their resident camp fee (and core camp at Camp Woodland) when they sell Girl Scout cookies. To apply the credit earned towards the camp fee, write in the amount on the registration form. Credits can be transferred to other girls who may not have credits of their own to use. Please include the name of the person earning the credits and their troop number on the registration as indicated and attach the cookie credit coupon to the registration form.
PLEASE NOTE: Credit may not be used for the $25 deposit. And, only one girl’s earned cookie credit can be applied to each resident camp session (except sisters, who may combine their credits.) Credit may not be used for Me and My Gal, Me and My Guy, or troop camping at Camp Woodland.
Late Registration
If registration is received less than 30 days before the camp session starts, the entire camp fee is due when registration is confirmed.
Confirmation
A registration confirmation, health form, camper profile form, parent handbook and additional information will be mailed after the registration is processed.
Resident Camp Refunds
The total fee, including deposit, is refunded if a camper cannot be placed in any camp session.
The $25.00 deposit is not refunded after registration is confirmed. Membership dues are not refundable. Bus fees are not refundable. The balance of the fee is refunded only when written notice of cancellation is received three weeks before the camp session starts, or when the camper is ill and a written refund request is accompanied by a statement from the attending physician.
Refunds will not be made if a camper leaves camp because of homesickness, illness, or parent request.
Cancellations
Notify the camp registrar immediately if your daughter will not be able to attend camp. We can then place a girl from the waiting list in the program.
