How to Register for Camp

TO REGISTER ON-Line
New this year! Register online with a credit/debit card and get immediate confirmation of placement and receive your camper/parent packet electronically!

Follow the steps below and have your credit/debit card ready to make your $25 deposit. (required today). A valid e-mail address is required. Notice the procedure is different whether your child is new to Girl Scout resident camp or is a returning Girl Scout resident camper.

If you wish to pay by check instead of credit card, you can register by mail via paper registration. See instructions below.

For NEW Campers

(Use this section if your campers did not attend Girl Scout resident camp at Oakledge, Prairie Schooner, or Winding River in 2007 or 2008 or Daisy in 2008 or if you are registering for Mother/Daughter.)

  1. To set up a new account, click on the button below for the appropriate camp.
  2. On the page that pops up, create a username and password.
         *Keep these for future reference.
  3. Then fill out YOUR name and contact information (not your child's).
  4. From there, you will see instructions on how to complete registration.

For RETURNING Campers

(Use this section if any camper in your family attended summer resident camp at Oakledge, Prairie Schooner, or Winding River in2007 or 2008 or Daisy in 2008.) All mother/daughter campers should register as NEW campers.)

  1. We have set up an account for you.
  2. To access your account, you must type in a username & password following the code below (you can change this later):

Username: first two letters of camper's first name + first two letters of camper's last name + zip code +"camp code"

Password: camper's last name

TO REGISTER BY MAIL:

To register via mail, print the registration form using the links below. Be sure to fill in all sections and list 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices of session/program. Registrations received before March 16 will be grouped together and processed at random beginning on the 16th. After this date, registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Parents will be notified of placement and camper/parent packets will arrive via mail. Allow four to six weeks for processing after March 16.

  • Camp Registration to print and register by mail.
  • Mother/Daughter Registration to print and register by mail. (Check, money order or credit/debit card payments are accepted by mail.)
  • Contact us via phone at (816) 358-8750 with any registration questions. We're happy to help get your camper registered for summer camp!

Non-refundable Deposit
A $25.00 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit must be included with each registration. Cookie credit or financial assistance may not be used for the deposit. The balance of the camp fee is due 30 days before the camp session begins.

Cookie Credit Helps Pay for Camp
Girls can earn credit they can apply toward summer camp fees when they sell Girl Scout cookies. To apply the credit earned toward the fee, enter the amount on the registration form. Credit can be transferred to friends but cannot be combined with personal credit earned. Credit can be transferred and/or combined between sisters. Follow the instructions on the registration form to redeem cookie credit.

Cancellations
Notify the Girl Scout office immediately if your daughter will not be able to attend camp. Contact us at (816) 358-8750 or campdept@girlscoutsksmo.org.

Refunds
The total fee, including deposit, is refunded if a camper cannot be placed in any camp session.

The $25.00 deposit is not refunded after registration is confirmed (on-line or via mail). Membership dues are not refundable. Bus fees are not refundable. The balance of the fee is refunded only when written notice of cancellation is received at least three weeks before the camp session starts, or when the camper is ill and a written refund request is accompanied by a statement from the attending physician.

Refunds will not be made if a camper leaves camp because of homesickness, illness or parent request.
