TO REGISTER ON-LINE:
Register online with a credit/debit card and get immediate confirmation of placement.

Follow the steps below and have your credit/debit card ready to make your $25 deposit. (required today). A valid e-mail address is required. Notice the procedure is different whether your child is new to Girl Scout camp or is a returning Girl Scout camper.

Summer Adventures for GIRLS online registration

Use these instructions to register for Camp Oakledge, Juliette Low Camp, Leadership Camps, and Equestrian Leadership Camps.

For NEW Families (none of your children attended a GS resident camp in 2009):

  1. To set up a new account, click on the link below.
  2. On the page that pops up, create a username and password. Keep these for future reference.
  3. Log in with the username and password you just created.
  4. Click on the “Family” tab and fill out YOUR name and contact information (not your child’s).
  5. From there, you will see instructions on how to complete registration.

For RETURNING Families (any member of your family attended a GS resident camp in 2009):

  1. If you registered online last year, click the link below and log in with your existing username and password. IMPORTANT: If your username and/or password do NOT work or you cannot remember them, PLEASE DO NOT CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT! Call the office (816) 358-8750, and we will promptly provide you with your username and password. Thank you!
  2. 2. If you registered via paper last year, we have set up an account for you. To access your account, you must type in a username and password following the code below (you can change this later):

    Username: first two letters of camper’s first name + first two letters of camper’s last name + zip code + dhm
    Password: camper’s last name

    For example: Samantha Johnson, zip code 11222

    Username: sajo11222dhm
    Password: johnson

Use these instructions to register for Mother/Daughter Overnight or Family Camp.

For NEW Families (your family did not attend a Mother/Daughter Overnight in 2009):

TO REGISTER BY MAIL:

To register via mail, print the registration form using the link below. Be sure to fill in all sections and list 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices of session/program. Parents will be notified of placement and camper/parent packets through the mail. Please allow four to six weeks for processing.

Non-refundable Deposit
A $25.00 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit must be sent in with each registration form. Camp credit or financial assistance may not be used for the deposit. Membership fee of $12.00 is also due at the time of deposit if camper is not a registered Girl Scout for 2009-2010. The balance of the camp fee is due 30 days before the camp session starts. Make checks or money orders payable to Girl Scouts of NE KS & NW MO. Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Gift of Camp certificates are accepted.

Cookie Credit
Girls can earn credit to apply toward their camp fee when they sell Girl Scout cookies. For Mother/Daughter Overnight and Family Camp programs, cookie credit may be used only for the Girl Scout’s portion of registration fees. Credit may not be used for troop events (Taste of Camp, Troop Horseback Riding).

To apply the credit earned towards the camp fee, check the appropriate box on the registration form. Credit can be transferred to friends, but cannot be combined except within immediate families. Credit can be transferred and/or combined between sisters. Cookie credit amount will be verified and applied when registration is processed.

Financial Assistance
Money is set aside each year for financial assistance to help girls who might otherwise be unable to attend camp. Grants are made based on the number of requests, availability of funds and applicants’ needs. To request financial assistance, use the form located on the website at www.girlscoutsksmo.org, or call the council office and a copy of the form will be sent to you. Financial Assistance is not available for troop programs, Mother/Daughter Overnight, or Family Camp.

Confirmation
A registration confirmation, health form, camper profile form, parent information guide and additional information will be mailed or e-mailed after the registration is processed. Online registrations will receive an immediate confirmation of placement electronically.

Refunds
The total fee, including deposit, is refunded if a camper cannot be placed in any camp session. The $25.00 deposit is not refunded after registration is confirmed. Membership dues and bus fees are not refundable. The balance of the fee is refunded only when written notice of cancellation is received three weeks before the camp session starts, or when the camper is ill and a written refund request is accompanied by a statement from the attending physician. Refunds will not be made if a camper leaves camp because of homesickness, illness, or parent request. Notify the camp registrar immediately if your daughter will not be able to attend camp
