Juliette Low Camp is co-sponsored by Rotary Club #13, Kansas City, Missouri at the Rotary Youth Camp at Lake Jacomo. The 40-acre site has a paved nature trail, a zero entry swimming pool, dining lodge and twelve cabins. Campers are encouraged to invite their friends without disabilities to register with them for Juliette Low Camp and share in their camping experience.

The Juliette Low staff is experienced in working with girls with physical disabilities. In addition, Senior Girl Scouts from across the country are selected to work as Juliette Low counselors. At night, a staff member stays in each cabin with the campers.

At Juliette Low Camp you will learn to live and have fun in the out-of-doors. You can hike, swim, build a campfire, prepare a scavenger hunt, plan cookouts and earn badges. Campers are assigned to cabins and patrols according to their special interest and may choose from Outdoor Skills and Sports, Arts and Crafts, Potpourri, or Outpost.

Program Descriptions
(All available during both sessions)

Outdoor Skills and Sports
Go on hikes, learn about nature, swim and spend the night at the Outpost campsite. You can even challenge other patrols to a volleyball game and go swimming in the morning.

Arts and Crafts
Explore the arts in this patrol. Weave, draw, learn songs, work on badges, make nature prints or learn a craft from another part of the country. Use your imagination. You will also take part in other camp activities.

Potpourri
Sample all the activities Juliette Low Camp has to offer! You can camp, hike, learn about nature, swim, draw, do crafts, and best of all, make new friends while at camp.

Outpost
The Outpost is located on the grounds, a 5-minute walk from the main camp. Living at the Outpost is an excellent chance to experience life outdoors, learn to cook meals over a stove or fire, and gain independence, but still enjoy the usual activities and fun of life in camp.
