Girl Scouts


Archery

   
  Archery is a great sport for girls; it builds confidence and coordination. All of the necessary equipment and trained volunteer instructors will be provided for troops on the dates/locations listed in the table below.

  Who: Registered Girl Scouts in grades 4-12. A maximum of 12 girls will be placed in each time slot. Larger groups will be split into multiple time slots.

Required Dress: Long hair should be pulled back and all loose or dangly clothing and accessories should be secured.

Supervision: Troop first aid certified person and leaders/adults in SafetyWise ratio must stay at the archery range with the troop while girls participate in this activity.

Cancellation Procedure: Sometimes we must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances including weather, volunteer availability, and equipment malfunction. We will make every effort to contact your troop in the event of a cancellation.

Registration: Download an Outdoor Reservation: Program form. Follow instructions on form and submit completed form with $10 deposit to council headquarters. Reservations will be processed beginning June 1 for fall 2008 (December 1 for spring 2009).
