Camp Daisy Hindman & Camp Prairie Schooner Summer Programs

Lifeguard/Core Staff:

($210 per week and up)

  • Lifeguard 6+ hours per day
  • Keep campers and camp equipment safe
  • Provide camper supervision and help plan activities for day and overnight events
  • Work in other areas of camp as needed
  • Live in camp units with other staff and campers during overnight events
  • Live in staff housing or commute during day camp sessions
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must hold or be eligible for appropriate certification

Challenge Activity Instructor / Core Staff - Rappel, Zipline and Archery:

($210 per week and up)

  • Teach 6+ hours per day
  • Keep campers and camp equipment safe
  • Must believe in and practice "Challenge of Choice"
  • Provide camper supervision and help plan activities for day and overnight events
  • Work in other areas of camp as needed
  • Live in camp units with other staff and campers during overnight events
  • Live in staff housing or commute during day camp sessions
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must hold or be eligible for appropriate certifications

Assistant Camp Director:

($360 per week and up)

  • Guide staff through coaching and motivation
  • Oversee scheduling and camp activities
  • Assist with the instruction of camp activities as needed
  • Ensure safety and camp guidelines are followed
  • Live in staff housing
  • Make decisions in director's absence
  • Must hold or be eligible for appropriate certifications
  • Must be 21 years of age or older

Winding River Camp & Equestrian Center

Horseback Riding Instructor

($210 per week and up)

  • Teach 6+ hours per day
  • Work in other areas of camp as needed
  • Keep campers, horses and other camp equipment safe
  • Live in camp units or staff housing
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Challenge Activity Instructor / Core Staff Zipline & Archery:

Camp Oakledge Staff Positions

Counselors:

($210 per week and up)

  • Work directly with a group of 8-13 girls
  • Help schedule and plan activities
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of campers
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Unit Leaders:

($270 per week and up)

  • Guide counselors through coaching and motivation
  • Schedule and plan all-unit activities
  • Ensure safety and camp guidelines are followed
  • Live in camp units with other staff and campers
  • Must be 21 years of age or older

Aqautics - Pool staff, Waterfront staff:

($210 per week and up)

  • Teach or lifeguard 6+ hours per day
  • Work in other areas of camp as needed
  • Keep campers and camp equipment safe
  • Live in camp units with other staff and campers
  • Waterfront staff must have prior experience in canoeing, kayaking or sailing
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must hold or be eligible for appropriate certification

Waterfront Director:

($330 per week and up)

  • Guide other staff through coaching and motivation
  • Schedule and plan lessons and activities
  • Ensure safety and camp guidelines are followed
  • Live in camp units or staff housing
  • Knowledge of pool chemistry preferred
  • Maintain and safeguard pool and waterfront equipment
  • Must be 21 years of age or older

Assistant Camp Director:

($360 per week and up)

  • Guide staff through coaching and motivation

  • Ensure safety and camp guidelines are followed
  • Live in staff housing
  • Make decisions in director's absence
  • Must be 21 years of age or older

Health Services - Health Supervisor (21+), Health Assistant (18+):

($300 per week and up)

  • Ensure the health and safety of campers and staff
  • Distribute scheduled medications
  • Respond to emergencies
  • Live in and manage health and wellness center
  • Must have current certification in CPR and First Aid
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
